“ A great Sunday lunch. Choice of turkey, chicken, beef, veggie. Cauliflower cheese and mash came as optional extras (extra cost). Veg was likely frozen rather than fresh, but still tasted okay ”

“ Lovely Sunday lunch , could drink the gravy , 1 little blip cauliflower was to hard (but that's a personal choice) good amount of veggies and nice Yorkshires come with all meat choices. Didn't order pudding as lactose intolerant and didn't have information on menu (will ask next time) definitely coming back when I get another Sunday off as not many places do chicken , servers were nice and friendly, place was a little cold (we we're in the conservatory side) but not enough to totally spoil our meal ”

“ Always wanting to support gorgeous local pubs and The White Lion here in Whittington certainly is one of those! Recently under new landlords/ management and they have certainly done a lot of work to it. Lots of parking, outdoors seating and the inside offers plenty more again. The eating area is in the conservatory and makes it very comfortable and relaxing. Decorated with lots of cosy comfortable furniture, wooden tables, warm colours and nice artwork makes this pub special. Our lunch was delicious, all freshly made and thoroughly enjoyed by us. A big thank you and shout out to dad Brian, son and landlord Ben who is also the Chef, Deb, Lauren who keep it all going in the dinning room and bar areas and Artur as well! (my reading glasses hunt... ;-) ) Definitely recommend this pub and I'm sure you will not be disappointed with a visit here. Well done to you all!! ”
